Frozen seafood question

I bought a bag of frozen seafood - squid, cuttlefish, limitation crab meat, mussel meat, shrimp

It has a production date (23-12-15) but no expiry date. How long might it be good for?

Also, it has no cooking instructions. Is this ok -> thaw overnight, pan fry ~10 min, medium heat, in vegetable oil. Remove when oil/liquid is absorbed/gone. This is what I do with other frozen seafood bags with instructions. I don't mind if it's a bit overcooked, that's how I can visually tell it's done. :)
