Showerthought: Leaving Mormonism behind has allowed me to learn things I could not have learned any other way

I went down the rabbit hole about two years ago, and those two years have been, for many reasons, the most difficult of my entire life. In retrospect, I wouldn't change anything because going through this process has taught me valuable truths about myself and the world that I could not have learned any other way. For me that is a confirmation that this is the right path for my life. That confirmation is also the final nail in my mormon coffin.
