Name change takes forever can someone tell me why?

So i wanna join nopixel but my name i put in on my account isnt a valid rp name so i have to change it so i applied for a name change request and a mod approved and now im waiting for a head admin but its been like 5 days and nothing has happened yet is it just they only do name changes on a certain day? Also i would just make another account and do it right but i donated on this one so im not making a new one
