LG G Pad X 8.0 Nougat Update

So recently T-Mobile has pushed out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the LG G Pad X 8.0 tablet. However doesn't seem like the OTA update has aired as no one had been able to update it through that. The only known way to update the tablet to Android Nougat is to download LG Bridge and then connect your device, set it in file transfer mode, and then update through that. However I, and like most others, are Easter to get this update but cannot get the LG Bridge software to show that update. LG Bridge only tells us "Your tablet is up to date" (which is obviously not correct).

For those that updated it through LG Bridge, how'd you do it? Anything special to trigger the update?

P.S. - Please refrain from suggesting to flash the .kdz file as many are inexperienced or simply do not want to risk bricking their device. Thank you.
