How the fuck do you break up your parents marriage?

Seriously, the relationship is completely toxic and dangerous for both of them, I feel like it won't be long before something terrible happens and they need to be seperated.

My parents have always been fairly hostile towards one another, in fact most of my most prominent childhood home memories are of my father shouting and hitting my mother. Both have good jobs, and I'm grateful for them seeming to put their children's needs above their own when providing good health and opportunities, but for creating a household that is overwhelmingly hostile I resent them.

I'm 21 years old and no longer live at home, but when I do visit there is always daily arguing, excess drinking, and sometimes aggressive fighting whereby my F will do anything short of causing visible damage to my M for a culmination of things she has said to him. In balance, it is clear my M does not treat my F well, she appears to generally treat him as an insignificant and useless partner, which of course makes him angry. Add the financial problems and it just gets progressively worse.

I don't think my parents are essentially bad people, but their relationship is in such a dire state that they are both bringing out the worst in one another. I fear that one day my M will be subject to my Fs anger to the extent that there is serious damage caused, or my M will one day push him out of the picture altogether.

Just feels so fucking terrible knowing that something needs to be done, but I don't have the means to do so and they apparently don't have the desire to change anything. Both are fine to live with when on their own; I do suspect both have deep insecurities from things that may have happened in the past, and that my F has some form of personality disorder, but for the most part they are good people and individually good parents.

I didn't really want to post this, but I needed to get something that's been swallowing me for a long time off my chest.
