[ASK] Why is matchmaking so weird?

Im right now at 3100 trophies and I still cant understand the mathmaking. If I lose a match, the game matches me with stronger opponents for some weird reason. And if I win in that losing streak, the game starts matching me with easier opponents. Isnt it supposed to be the other way around? I have been playing for a few months now and Im 100% sure this isnt my luck
