Looking for program to help remember my summaries

I was thinking recently that I might be wasting a lot of time reading content online, as I do not store this information I read. For example, when I read the news I would like to store a single sentence takeaway (could be longer) as well as the article source and topic. So that in the future I can see all my summaries about a specific topic and their sources.

I've considered using something like onenote by making a notebook for news and then copy pasting all the info I want into pages since I can use the search function to find keywords. But this does not seem like an optimal solution, and I was wondering if there was a program designed around this concept?
