I just relapsed on my longest streak - Here is why I'm not mad. NEW REBOOT PROGRAM

I have been lurking this place for 3 years now. My longest streak before this one was 14 days, but this time I managed to go get to 20 days before relapsing.

I now know all my triggers, the biggest being resting my hand om my penis all the time when alone. I now know that if I ever do this I won't be far from a relapse. I also have the mental strength to avoid most urges. Yesterday was the hardest day for me. I had the biggest urge ever but I still managed to not fap. The downside was that I grew so tired of fighting the urged that the first thing I did this morning when waking up was to edge. I edged for 3 hours today until I finally O'ed.

Now even thought I still failed today, I believe that I have made a big progress so far and I feel stronger than before.

But let's talk about my main issue here. I have come to realize that most people on this place have no clue of how to actually stop watching porn. You all have this mentally of: If I go 90 days everything will change. I will never watch porn again. What you don't realize is that in order for you to stop being addicted to porn your brain has to stop linking Porn with Sex, or Porn with M. Most people here advocate no PMO for 90 days. I simply think that this approach is wrong. Yes, some people will manage this, but honestly, the only thing I see on this forum is people talking about their relapses which clearly suggests that it is NOT working for many people. We need to find another way and I think I have just done that!

The problem is that your brain is linking P with M and O. There is nothing wrong with M and O. You don't think the most popular guy at your school does this? You don't think that cavemen did this? Everyone does (inb4 someone says that just because everyone does doesn't mean it's good). The problem comes when you do it too frequently. Doing M and O every day is not healthy but doing it once every 2 weeks without P can not be more unhealthy then having a 2 week streak then relapsed and edge for 3-4 hours. Honestly people! How can you be against M and O so much here? People (including myself) beat themselves up over relapsing so much that it is actually making us even more depressed whenever we relapsed because of it! If you are already on a streak now, then GOOD FOR YOU! Keep going!! But for the people who keep relapsing, I have an solution!

This is my new reboot program. This is how I will beat porn addiction.

*I'm gonna fap once every 2 weeks WITHOUT P, only using my fantasy (not fantasizing about P)

*I'm gonna this until my brain forgets the connection between P and O. My brain will only connect O with either Sex or M, NOT porn.

*If I'm exactly on day 14 I will feel and see if I'm capable of holding back the urges. If I'm not capable, I will immediately try to fap. If I can hold it back, I will simply not fap until the day I feel the urge. The important thing is that your urges come naturally and that you respond to your urges naturally.

Everyone who has ever relapsed knows this. The slippery slope is always your biggest enemy. You start with something soft at first, as I did this morning, then after some time you are full blown edging for hours. That's why I recommend to fap as soon as you feel the urge being really strong, because fapping to your imagination for 15 minutes is MUCH healthier then edging for 3 hours.

P is wrong...M and O is not! Follow this program together with me and report back your results. I used to fap 365 times/year. Going from that to 26/year and without any P is without any doubt a huge progress and I don't think that anybody can deny that!
