Question about PS4 Essentials Pack

If I purchase the essentials pack and redeem it on my PS4, to my understanding I can't use the coins on PC. However, if use those coins to buy loot crates on the PS4, will I be able to open the crates on PC if I don't open them on the PS4? I know the content unlcocked by these crates are available on PC, and I would imagine the crates would show up as unopened in my Profile on PC. Anyone know about this it try this.

Also, the reason I'm doing this rather than opening them on PS4 is for YouTube video purposes that I wish to record on PC. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
