I just bought Overwatch PS4 - North America...will there actually be many people to play with?

Hi there, I haven't opened my game yet. I have been worried that the vast majority of the player base is on PC, and that soon enough on PS4 things will die down. Would this be true? I would really like to play on my ps4 rather than pc. thanks!

edit: alight guys thanks for the info, I'm excited to play on PS4, and if the average que takes a minute or two that's pretty fast. I would love to keep my PS4 for the type of game, and reserve my PC for CS:GO - I didn't want to mix and match that playstyle. Anyways, I really hope there are many PS4 players that stick around for a long time!
