Nemesis is portrayed as a villain but she's the closest thing to a hero
Devpai, of whom I've still yet to pet, said that the Mission Mode is set in an AU from the real canon, where Info-Chan is a pimp of sorts who hired Yan-chan as a hired gun, I believe is the technical mob term.
So, let's set the stage. Some cuck steals my sandwich, so I ring up Info-Chan. I tell her that I want the perpetrator FUCKING DEAD, because that was a good sandwich. Or was it? I didn't get to eat it, so how would I know?
So, I customize the killing to be this: Yan-chan must restrain the person and drown them in mayonnaise. The challenge would say something like "The player must drown the target in mayonnaise".
But, Nemesis-chan decides to step in and kill Yan-chan, thus sparing the target.
Now, how is Nemesis the hero for intercepting the killing of the person who made off with my meat? Well, because there are other ways to squash beef than to hire someone to drown their face in mayonnaise. Killing someone for that is CRAY-CRAY.
Nemesis is the one who makes sure that doesn't happen. Nemesis is the one trying to spare the target so that they may live another day so that I CAN DROWN THEM IN MAYONNAISE, PERSONALLY.
And thus, Nemesis is kind of a hero.
#"BUT SHE'S KILLING YAN-CHAN!!!11111ONEONEONEELEVENONE"
Yan-chan, even in a separate universe, despite being great petting material, is still a terrible person.
But the thing is, it's ALL perspective. To the Joker, Batman is a supervillain because he keeps thwarting his plans.
Morality is subjective. If someone murders my wife, the police would jail him, but what I see as moral would be to rip the guy's dick off and make him gulp his own semen as I remove his testicles from their sack and squeeze them right above his mouth while screaming at him how gay he is for drinking semen. Maybe my sense of morality would be to just let him go because I hated my wife anyway. Morality is subjective.
