What are some Gear VR hardware modifications?

So,

I've been watching some youtube videos about installing using a fan to help prevent over heating, and saw the Gear VR Cooling Fan on Amazon, and that got me wondering what other sort of physical modifications have been done, as well as what could be possible.

So far I've thought of the following:

*A fan to help with cooling

*A battery pack to power the Gear/Fan/other

*Switches to control them

*Attached, dedicated ear buds

• Several IR LEDs so that you could remove the IR filter from a phone camera and have night vision pass through.

• Tiny interior fans to help prevent lens fogging

• Making the USB connector switchable so that you can have normal function or USB Tether for... whatever the HMD program is called. T something. Or OTG functions without normal function.

• Electroluminescent wire on the outside to show that you're one of the cool kids, or maybe a daft punk or Cylon look.
