Marriage before all Friendships are done?

I recently got to 10 hearts with Leah and am getting ready to get married, but still have not completed any of the other single villagers' storylines. Developing these relationships has really made the game more interesting for me. Is it worth it to get married now? Or should I wait, since I know your spouse gets jealous if you give other marriage candidates gifts.
