Remapping the Sony Xperia z5c Camera Button To Rotate the Screen

i want to remap my Xperia z5c camera button to toggle from portrait to landscape and back. NOT to toggle from portrait to "auto-rotate". To directly rotate and make it the ONLY thing that rotates my screen.

Do I have to root the phone to this?
