Natural dopamine regulation post-methylphenidate

Hi,

I'm interested in the time frame it takes for the brain to readjust to the cessation of Ritalin - as I understand the brain reduces the production of dopamine since ritalin is a re-uptake inhibitor. Then once the brain no longer receives ritalin it begins cranking out its own dopamine supply again.
