Magicka 2 Spell questions?

Just got this game on PS4 with my friends and got to Ch5 but we dont see a lot of new unique spells. I googled online and sees all these awesome cool spells like summon Death, Summon Phoenix and such. Yet, it seems that these are the spells in Magicka 1. I can't find much other info on Magick 2. Does Magicka 1 has way more unique spells compared to Magicka 2? Thanks.
