How to counter holy paladins?

(vanilla) I just wanted to know how horde players managed to counter alliance premades with holy paladins, since these guys can dispell your frost nova, your slows, and basically render all your cc useless in premade pvp? You end up having a warrior/rogue right up your ass 50% of the time, and it's seriously unfun.
