How do children learn two languages at once?
Let's say you are living in America, and your parents are Chinese. It's not really uncommon for their kid to know both English and Chinese at a young age.
How does this work? At what age can children fully comprehend the concept of different languages? Do they teach it English first, then teach him the Chinese equivalent of the words? Do they try to teach both at once?
