Bouldering as a "heavier" guy
Hey ya'll, I started bouldering recently, a few weeks and love it! Just wish my recovery rates kept up with my urge to climb.
I'm on the higher end of weight, sitting at about 95-96kg and wondering if anyone had any tips, or different styles compared to littler guys?
I'm working my way through the V3's at the gym I go to (3 of the 7), and I constantly watch every one else who seem to all be nibble - legs just go everywhere, arms reach for days and it looks easy.
I've done 7-8 years of martial arts (BJJ and MMA) as well as Olympic lifting so I'm not exactly weak, is it worth using my strength more till I learn the techniques? Or am I on the right path trying to imitate the smaller peeps I'm seeing?
Thanks for any advice!
