First FPV build Budget around $500

I currently fly a DJI Phantom 3

Just recently got exposed to FPV drone racing and am intrigued to build my own!

With my budget, what parts would you recommend for a complete build involving goggles and all!

Some things I would prefer:

Able to fly far distance

Battery life (dji runs for 20 minutes, what do these typically get?)
