New to Eso, could anyone offer some pet tips?

I know it's just for show and that they don't really do anything, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any quest lines that offered pets or mounts as rewards? So far all I've found was limited editions or ones handed out with certain events, but surely there's quests that give them to you.

Any help would be awesome. Bit of a scrolls newb.
