Difference between the UK and US justice system ? Please read

NSFW

People love saying how the US system is fucked up and you're gonna get 25 to life for selling especially if you're black but I stumbled across the fact that 50 Cent was arrested multiple times included once when they found 10 ounces on him and he should've got anywhere from 3 to 9 years but they sent him to a boot camp where he got his GED.

Meek Mill was arrested at 18 for possession of a firearm and got away with probation! Then in 2008 he got arrested again for drug dealing and possession of a firearm (again) and they sentenced him to 11 to 23 months but was released the next year (2009) on parole.

Gucci Mane was found with 90 bags of crack on him, ran from the police and got sentenced to 90 days. Plus, if you have like a whole day to read you can see here how many other times he got arrested but always got away with it with a light sentence. I don't know whose lawyer is the best, Gucci's or OJ Simpson's.

But, let's get back to my question: is it safe to assume a good lawyer can get you out of trouble in the US pretty easy if you have the money and he has the connections ? Cause the way you read it here it seems that if you're black and they catch you with a pound of weed you're done for life, but all these guys were young, black, living in the ghetto, and still got away very lightly. (btw I'm using these rappers as examples because I am familiar with their stories since I listen to their music, I'm sure there's plenty others who had the same story).

But, since we're talking about the UK in this sub I want to take this guideline as an example: http://www.sentencingcouncil.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/Drug_Offences_Definitive_Guideline_final_web1.pdf Are these things 100% accurate ? Like if it says 3 to 9 years, you will 100% of the time get 3 to 9 years, no more or less ? If yes, is it safe to assume that if you have a lot of money to afford good lawyers you might actually get away with a lighter sentence with their fucked up "justice" system rather than the UK ? Would these guys get the same sentence in the UK for the crimes they committed ?
