Broken Arm Recovery

So I broke my arm and totaled my bike about 2 months ago when my front wheel came off in midair and I went OTB without knowing what was going on. My bike will be fixed and my cast will be off my arm within a couple of weeks, but I have a couple of questions for people who may have experienced the MTB recovery from not biking for a while and coming back to it with an incredibly weakened limb.

First off, I'd like to know how I can not be timid and gun-shy about attempting to do stuff I could do before. I'm a little worried that I'll be super weak-willed and nervous about doing features, jumps, etc. I'd also like to know what the best way to go about rebuilding the muscle on that arm is. At the moment that arm is so weak that I can barely lift pans out of the oven, let alone preload for a bunny hop or whatever. Lastly, I'd like to know if my skill will be significantly affected. This is the longest break I've ever taken from mountain biking and I'm not sure how largely my skills will have decreased.

Thanks for reading this post, and if you have experience or know anything about any of these, a reply would be great! This is my first post on the MTB subreddit, and I'm looking forward to some more time in this community. Thanks, any answers/advice appreciated!
