Where is the best place to find a play group?

I recently moved after leaving college and that means leaving behind my old play group from school. I was wonder what is the best way to find a new play group. I have tried the local game stores near me but I have yet to find anyone at them that plays board games. Where do you Gals and guys recommend I look?
