Re-theming an existing game
Hi all, first time poster here. One of my all-time favourite games is Castles of Burgundy. Due to the drab art and lack of immersion into the theme, I have decided I want to create a re-themed version of the game. The game will be exactly the same, with just better art and perhaps thicker player boards.
I live in Australia and am having a difficult time finding where I can get a single copy of the game's components created either DIY with good quality cardboard or printed professionally with all new art. One idea I had was to buy the game, paint the board and player boards white and just stick the new art printed on paper, to the existing game board and player mats. Then I would perhaps make stickers for the tiles.
I am certain there is a better way of doing this that you awesome lot can suggest.
Let me know if you need more information.
