Lodging needed in Kihei!

I'm not sure this is the right place, but i've searched high and low for a place to stay in Kihei for a girlfriend and myself and have had no luck. We'll be in for a wedding, and i'll be there a couple days earlier than my friend. Anyone have any leads on affordable lodging in the area.. i've looked at VRBO and airbnb but thought i'd try my luck on reddit...
