Mov Backstrom Review

Okay this is my first review of a player on here. And in honor of his 500 assist milestone yesterday I'm doing my 1st review on Mov 90 Backstrom

Stats 15gp, 14g 10A 24p all div 1. plays with mov giroux and mov Voracek

Skating- 9.2/10 he's pretty quick moves about as well as most players with 90+ speed, can get some breakaways with him and skate past bigger dmen.

Shooting- 9.3/10 crazy how his shot isn't that great stat wise but he snipes like crazy especially his slapshot. But to be honest i snipe better with guys who have shots in the low 90's/ high 80's.

Hands- 9.8/10 - probably his most standout stats is he can deke almost as smooth as my mov giroux and just as good as datsyuk with dd. Very dangerous on breakaways and cause of his great hands and puck control i can be a bit more creative with him. I can deke people out with him pretty consistently and can aim manual saucer passes with him better than anyone I've ever used except mov giroux. Picks up the puck well and seems to always be in great position in the offensive zone. He's also pretty solid on faceoffs can win vs most centers except certain few.

Strength & Defense 8.8/10 he actually is much stronger than i expected take hits pretty well but chara and weber will end his life in he's in their line of fire. His stick checking is average doesn't stand out like some of my other forwards but it's not as useless as dylan stromes poke check.

Overall 9.5/10 he's probably the best mov card I've used so far this year, but even his 89 card was a beast for me a few months back. How'd he do for you guys?
