Hey guys thought I'd share my kruuug experience

4 gp With Chara on third pairing 1g 1a + 2

He seemed to do well with Chara as a harassment type Defenseman, he'd poke and hit until the puck came loose or get got a penalty(three in four games). I noticed his skating being near Bourque level but his short stick and inability to play defense spectacularly left me kind of disappointed, he got cross creased on a few times despite dropping so he got moved up

He really excelled at wing for me. His release is real solid on wristers and he buried a few one timers as well, he actually just won me a game in OT on a one timer where he did Cujo dirty off the bar from the face off circle. Solid forechecker and his skating was more noticeable up front as he'd naang in and surprise defenseman outlet passing

Skating: 8.3/10 Quicker and agile type much like a base gadreau albeit very light on skates and easy to bump. Does well in space. Seems faster than most cards I've used almost base Kessel esque

Shot: 8.5/10 Good release and very quick, will bury wristers slapper and one timers. Won't always hit the net and actually could have about 8 goals if he could but still was really impressed with his shooting and while not all powerful he can bury them

Hands: 7.5/10 Not gonna Deke Anything crazy and actually seems to do better with simple one dekes for scoring. Ended up about 40% on breakaways. Passes quite well albeit he wouldn't pick the puck up a few times for me(not sure if that's in passing stat). Overall wouldn't dangle id use simple dekes and his skating to create chances

Checking: 6/10 Not a body banger, only really try on smaller guys. Even then he won't obliterate them and his stick is mightier than the body. Likewise not good at taking checks and not the guy you want to see in front of the net warding people off

Defense: 8.0/10 Seemed to lack a defenders quick stick skating backwards but was solid positionally it's just hard to line up for shot blocks and checking holds him back tool box wise. I wouldn't recommend him for his defense except maybe in a power play specialist third pairing role

I'd recommend him for exactly what I use him as: speed on the third line and a little offense, nothing crazy good but for the price I'm happy with his performance. Also solid enough synergies, so If he aligns for you there id definitely say get him at his current price @20k
