Week Long Character Events, Math is your Friend

Hi folks, with the changes that have been made to the events starting with supergirl, and now we have arkis, we seem to have settled into what will be the normal set up for moving forward with these kinds of events, specifically the week long events, not the 24 hour events, those are different and follow different math entirely. If you want to see the math for those type of events, please follow the link to my main page and there are links there for explanations.

the first time you complete a stage in one of these events, you will receive a good chunk of shards for the character, while subsequent runs will yield less than the original. there is also a will power drop that occurs on the first completion. I will not be focusing on this will power though, because this is mainly about the fragments you can obtain in this event depending on how you participate. Math Time:

NodeFirst time completedTotal
11212
21830
32959
455114
586200
6120320

you don't get will power on additional runs, so the frags is the only thing you receive. this next table will show the totals of completing the events each day, but only for the additional shards. if you want to know how many shards you will get you add the total from table 1 and the total from table 2.

NodeIndividual Run Value
12
23
34
45
56
610

Total shards for completion of secondary runs:

Day 2Day 3Day 4Day 5Day 6Day 7
24681012
51015202530
91827364554
142842567084
20406080100120
306090120150180

all righty, so you would get 320 fragments from the first completion, and 180 fragments over 6 days for the subsequent runs, for your total of 500.

There are a few numbers I would like to highlight for you. if you would like to take a character to 5 stars, you will need 150 fragments total, if they are also the log in character(as is the case with arkis), you will get 90 from log ins, and only need an additional 60, meaning if you can only complete the first 2 nodes...you will receive exactly enough shards between the log in and event for rank 5, so long as you complete them daily.

I hope this helps clarify things for everyone. Please leave a comment if you like, and as always, enjoy.
