Contest Rules

Hey everyone!

Here are the brand new rules for the next contests!

• To enter Redditvision Song Contest, your account must be at least 3 months old (unless you have participated in a previous edition already)

• The host has the freedom to keep his country, and the other people will have to go through a first-come-first-get system like before.

That means, when the host call for everyone to submit their song, make sure to be quick if you really want a certain country!

• There does not have to be a link between country and singer.

Although I do recommend to stay relatively reasonable! People won't give you a weird face for using a French artist for Monaco, but using a sending Jamaican reggae song for Iceland will get you some weird looks (even if it's not explicitly forbidden)

• The UK will be split up into England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

That means that you cannot pick UK any longer, instead - you have 4 new nations to choose from!)

• The contest will not be anonymous

• Songs with heavy swearing or a hateful message are not allowed

The host also has the opportunity to decide on the following points:

• The minimum and maximum length of the songs

• The maximum age of the songs (that is, how old it is by the time of submission)

• The maximum amount of views (by the time of submission)

• And the general schedule of the contest

The host doesn't have to have a maximum or minimum for everything, and also needs to make sure their requirements are realistic and reasonable - although I expect this won't be a problem in most cases.

Anyway, these are the new rules, and I'll leave the rest to the host.

Have fun!
