[EP5 Spoilers] So it turns out my Complete Soundtrack wasn't actually complete. That is, until now.

Recently I discovered an official list of all licensed music in Life Is Strange. With this list, I first was able to identify the Audio Network songs that the skaters play in Episode 1 and an unnamed girl plays in Episode 2 in the hallway, which I previously did not know. I still did not include them in the actual soundtrack, as the music is not very noticeable and is better off classified as part of the background effects. I still added links though to the Steam guide to where you can listen to them if you want.

However, this list also pointed out something I was completely unaware of: David plays music on his radio in Episode 4 if Max defends him in Episode 3. I always take Chloe’s side because the alternative doesn’t seem in-character for Max to me, so I never saw what happened if David stuck around. I would also check let’s plays to see if they ever showed music in certain scenes, and most of them also sided with Chloe.

Anyways, the music is definitely prominent enough for inclusion. It’s just as prominent as Dana’s music, for example. So, as a result I have added the following three tracks to the playlist:

  1. Preacher Man 2
  2. La Ballade Du Midi
  3. Mustang Drive

This also means that the playlist is now 145 tracks and 136 videos.

I’m now pretty certain my soundtrack is complete. It’s possible I’m missing an instrumental track or two that plays only if you make a certain choice, but I’m doubtful. There are only a few instrumental tracks that play in certain choices but not others. The music is slightly different if Kate jumps or gets off the edge. Also, you obviously won’t hear the music that plays in the hospital if you don’t save Kate. Finally, there’s music when Max and Chloe get back from meeting with Frank only if Chloe doesn’t kill Frank. It’ll play if they leave peacefully or if she injures Frank, but not if she kills him. And of course there’s the ending music, but everyone knows that.

If anyone knows of any other choice-dependent music I’m missing, let me know. It’s far too tedious for me to test everything again now.

As always, let me know if you have questions about the music!
