[CloudReady] Expereriencing long lags and stutters

Hey, I just installed CloudReady on my HP ProBook 4540s I have equipped with 8GB ram and yet, I am experiencing lags and stutters I have never experienced on any other OS (Windows, multiple versions of ubuntu). The lags last from few seconds up to say 30 seconds and more. If I have audio or video playing, the audio starts stuttering.

I am dual booting with Windows 10, not running from USB stick, I have the latest version of chromeOS.

Any idea what's going on?
