How important is secondary resist?
I got decent gloves and want to roll the vit to AS, but they don't have a secondary resist. Is that more important than AS?

On one piece, not so much. The important thing is that you actually get it on most of your pieces.
Looking at your profile, you should be perfectly fine.
For reference, you gain ~3m toughness if you were to roll those gloves to max physical res.

I'm assuming that's the difference between rolling the vit to AS or one of the secondaries to physical res. If it's ~3m and then the toughness loss for rolling the vit off, I might roll the res.

You don't need AS, thats the real issue. those gloves are really good. You have 2 options, roll with vit and secondary resist and have very nice gloves, or reroll vit->AD and have very nice damage gloves. You pick. I and many other monks hit 90+ 2 seasons ago preferring 1k vit over 20AD, but I think current leaders are using AD/damage options over vit, but the leaderboards are still climbing and you might see it change.
As a rule of thumb, only reroll secondary resist if all other stats are as you want them. It comes last on stat priority but it is still important to have all for pushing GR.

I think I am going to roll the resist. That way I have solid vit gloves and just hunt for another solid pair.

depends does your other gear have AS? does your other gear have sec res? for shenlong id take AS
