Are men allowed to go?
I see several in that picture...
I haven't seen any picture, was just asking. How is it a women's march if several men are at it though?
Yes they're allowed. It's called a Women's March because it's being led by women but anyone who isn't protesting against the mandate was allowed
Gotcha. Who were they protesting to, out of interest

I wouldn't.

I found the "all lives matter" person.

Because currently only one gender is receiving the majority of the inequality.

Prove it. You won't.
So all genders should be marching, right? I must've missed the part where women have it worse in Canada.
You must have. All genders were marching.
I honestly didn't know about them until two days ago either:
https://www.womensmarch.com/mission/
"It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences." - Audre Lorde
Election of President Trump has initiated today's march though - as they believe his message is one in conflict with their acceptance of differences.
But read through their mission statement and please decide for yourself =)
Acceptance of differences. That's a bit ironic.
Veiled anti-Trump protest
How is it veiled? I thought that was the whole point.
You're right, it isn't veiled. Poor choice of words.
planned before the election

Women aren't suffering in Canada. I'm good.
Hi! This march is about women's and civil rights in America. This one in Toronto is to show solidarity for those marching in the US today. :)
What women and civil rights are being fought for still?
none of these points have been actualized in policy or law yet, but this is what he wants to happen. and we can't let it happen

Said about every conservative since before time.

We can show our support!!! There is nothing like knowing you are not alone.
Man, these comments are complete vomit...but then again, that's what I've come to expect from r/toronto, where people get triggered by the very fact that activists mustered the gall to organize a peaceful march that is non-disruptive, on a weekend, on government property, about a cause that normal human beings would never take issue with. Gotta be contrarian these days to feel good about yourself I guess.
Pretty costly stuff to get wrong.
Activists of any stripe are generally not well regarded.
In this subreddit, comments like (in the other thread about this)
get downvoted below threshold and subsequently removed by mods, but comments like
get upvoted to the top.
Totally unbiased.
The womens march thread yesterday had to be locked because some people can't handle women doing anything. It wasn't the "SJW politically correct children" who brigaded it.
This sub is a toilet, and an embarrassment.
Aside from being wrong - and from the voting totals demonstrating that no such brigade occurred - you missed the point completely.
