Custom home screen background music information and demo!
There are two WAV files that make up the BGM (background music) on the home screen. Both of the WAV files are PCM S16LE (s16l) files.
When the system first boots, it plays
/usr/share/clover-ui/resources/sounds/hvc/bgm_boot.wav
followed by
/usr/share/clover-ui/resources/sounds/hvc/bgm_home.wav
The bgm_boot.wav file just just a tad under 2 seconds and the bgm_home.wav is about 44 seconds. (But they don't have to be that; it'll play them if they aren't those lengths.) The end of bgm_home.wav is structured in such a way that when it ends, it repeats and you don't really notice the difference.
In my video below, you can see that I've replaced the files with one of my favorite tracks from Tetris (Nintendo).

This is done using modified hakchi2 init scripts. It's likely a bit much for the common user, but hopefully u/clusterm will take note and allow for a place where we can tell hakchi2 which files we want. I'd also like to encourage him to allow for users to define the custom font file they want, to make it easier for everyone to use one of my custom fonts, which I plan on continuing to release. You can find those here:
