Dale Hawerchuk Review

Hey Reddit, here's a review for my favourite player in this game. I'll prove why in this descriptive review

He's currently on a line with POTN Laine on his RW and Base Parise on his LW. His stats are incredible:

10G - 9A - 16GP

Skating: 9/10 Hawerchuk has a turbo engine in his feet. This guy can fly. Activate RF and it will make a difference. He easily overwhelms the opponents by overskating them. Just skate around in the zone if you want to get set up (thats what I do and it pays). I like his speed, its really fun.

Defense: 8/10 Hawerchuk can block some shots, but I don't usually do it much because it would be disastrous to lose him, even for a game because he's the pillar holding my team together. I like the fact that Hawerchuk comes back quickly to help his defensemen. His pokechecking is one of the best in the game. I like to surprise the enemy in their zone especially when they don't expect it. Just really solid defensively.

Bodychecking: 7.5/10 Hawerchuk is not an imposing force but he can hit like most average players. I find his bodychecking stats are a little overrated, but he can still lay a few hits now and then. He's gold to protect the puck and its harder to get the puck off him. Its nothing like Bucyk though, cause its impossible to take the puck off him.

Deking and Agility: 9/10 Very quick and agile player, slithering in between opponents without them expecting it. Ge creates a s*** ton of breakaways and a great number of his goals are from there. I would say the most effective deke in his case would be the toe drag. Those pair of hands are godly, so he's the guy you want if you're a crazy deker

Shooting: 10/10 I've got alot to say about this. His wristers are impeccable. You can snipe it from wherever you want. With WW wristers activated, he can snipe it wherever you want (Even without it you probably could too, his shooting stats are out of this world) And yes, his slapshot is crazy good as well. I've got B activated which helps alot. His slapshots are really useful. On breakaways, you can aim to the opposite bottom corner of the side you're on and it beats the goalies every time. My favourite though is his one timer. He's such a smart player that he actually knows where to place himself to just rip it into the net. Never misses. To sum shooting up, it is impeccable. I had trouble for a while scoring goals until he joined the team,

Honorable stats Tipping shots: Hawerchuk is by far the best shot tipper I've seen in this game. He tips anything, even puny little wrist shots that don't even go in the air (you know when you miss your one timer on the point, turns into a weird shot). Passing: He's solid with this too. Not just a sniper

Well, this is the best player I've used so far. A great addition to my team, I plan to leave him there for eternity.
