Beware of creeps and catfish.

#Creeps

There are a lot of creeps on Reddit and some of them read this sub and PM the people who post and send dick pics and creepy messages. If you want to avoid getting these messages you can turn off receiving PMs before you post here. You can do that here:

https://www.reddit.com/prefs/blocked

Click "Only trusted users" then "Save options".

If you do get harassed by PM, report it to the admins of Reddit with this link: https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=/r/reddit.com Or you can click on 'report' on the PM.

#Catfish

There's also people who post here or who may contact you via PM who send photos they claim to be of themselves but they're not. And they may try to gain your confidence then try to blackmail you. Be very cautious of anyone sending you a PM. You should also avoid clicking any links sent to you via PM for security reasons. Be careful.
