Did the two glasses experiment? I think it worked.
So I did the two glasses exercise this morning around 1:15-1:30AM. On one label I wrote "unattractive" and on the other label I wrote "very attractive." This is because I have had trouble thinking of myself as an attractive man and I thought something as subjective as attractiveness (to a degree) would be a good place to start. I had previously tried to jump using this exercise on January 13 with the intention of being in a relationship with a beautiful woman by Valentine's day. Needless to say, it didn't work. :(
So, I tried a broader, more subjective idea.
However, this time I felt better and more relieved about my circumstances (possibly) changing. I went to sleep and woke up later this morning - around 10:30AM. Two things happened:
I went into my bathroom and noticed that my shower curtain was on the opposite end of the shower curtain rod. I always push it one certain direction and hang a towel on the rod to dry out during the day. When I went to sleep, I could have sworn it was in its normal spot.
Later on this evening, my roommate and I were chilling and talking about zodiac signs and horoscope. He asked me what I was, to which I replied Gemini because of my birthday. He then said "are you sure? They discovered a new sign late last year and it kind of messed up everything." I didn't believe him so I Googled it. Sure enough, there were news articles about the 13th sign, Ociuphus. As a result, my sign went from Gemini to Taurus.
However, there are still websites that still say I'm a Gemini.
So far, I'm not sure if these two weird developments are signs that I jumped or if they are just coincidence. I haven't been out yet, so I can't test the attractiveness change yet, though my Bumble profile has not seen an increase in matches...
