91 POTG Jeff Carter review

Just picked up this beauty when it came out and thought I'd share my thoughts on this great card.

NP + CG + TW + SB + T activated

Currently on 2nd line LW with TOTW Backstrom and TOTW Malkin and 2nd PP unit.

16 GP / 14 G / 1 A - 15 points

Shooting: 9.5/10 -- Just like in real life, Carts' wrister is absolutely deadly. His shot feels much better than the rating says as he can snipe from anywhere close to the slot. Haven't used his clapper much, though.

Hands: 9/10 -- Even without DD active, he's so smooth and can perform any deke with ease. His shot is particularly good coming right off a deke. As you can tell by his 1 assist, his passing isn't the best, but it's not a reliability either.

Skating: 9/10 -- Again like in real life, Carts is smooth as silk. He's also particularly hard to knock off the puck, especially with NP active. He takes a little while to get to top speed, but is incredibly agile.

Defense: 8/10 -- He's not horrible, not great. Stick checks and stick lifts land easily and I've yet to take many penalties. His speed is great so he rarely, if ever, gets beat.

Overall: 9.25/10 -- I am a bit biased as a Kings fan, but this card is fucking awesome. His shot is deadly, he's fast, he's a big body, he's got everything. Pick him up if you can.
