I'm 32 yrs old and will be getting my tubes tied as permanent BC on Friday. Would there be any interest in a post about the process/procedure?

The title says it all, pretty much. I have wanted to get this done for a long time now, and I now have the opportunity to do it. I just wanted to put the question out there to see if anyone would be interested in hearing about my experience, both with the process of setting things up, Dr. consultations, insurance matters, etc., and also the procedure itself and the recovery after.

I believe fully in a woman's right to choose, and know as well as all of you of the constant attacks on women's rights, especially with the new administration. I am getting this procedure done because I want to have full control over my reproductive abilities (or non-abilities after Friday). I have never wanted children, my husband does not want children, and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that if I were to get pregnant, I would get an abortion as fast as I possibly could. Now, I think we can agree that no one really WANTS an abortion, and by getting this done, I am ensuring that I will never be in a position to NEED an abortion. I also realize that I am extremely fortunate to be able to get this done, and I would be more than happy to answer any questions about the whole shebang. Please let me know if it is something you all would like to hear about. If not, it's all good. Thanks!

EDIT: Wow, so yes, apparently there is some interest. I've gotten lots of questions, so tonight I will start a new post detailing what I've done so far as far as getting a Dr., figuring out the procedure, and insurance stuff, as well as getting some details about why this vs. a vasectomy for my husband, hormone stuff, etc. And to all of you who have had the procedure and wishing me luck - thank you! I am a touch nervous, but excited as well. And thanks to all who replied!

Update Edit: Here is the rundown I promised.
