Smashing a Mercedes window to rescue a puppy -- 3D 180
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvOMUkci1o0
This is the first part. Later the dog is actually rescued :-) You can see it in 3d anaglyph on a desktop or with 3d immersion in a headset .
Here are some processing notes I wrote elsewhere:
This is the original video quality from the camera. I will grade it later when I finish the other sequences.
The aligned, stabilized 180 fisheye circles I started with (from PTGui) I converted to 360 equis with Skybox in After Effects. The 180 fisheye circle frames were 1600 * 1600 (from 2.7K 16:9). The equis were 3072 * 1536 each so in O/U format they are 3072 * 3072.
I choose this size for the equis as that is the largest size mp4 I can get Adobe Media Encoder to encode in square formats. So that 3072*3072 mp4 O/U equi was what I processed with the 360 Video Metadata Tool (aka Spatial Media Metadata Injector) and uploaded to Youtube where it is an interactive 360 video with anaglyph 3d viewing option on a desktop or immersive stereo viewing in headsets.
Youtube will encode (in a hour or so from uploading) a 3072 * 3072 video at multiple resolutions up to what it calls 5k (5120 * 2880).
