Boss hit my car and caused significant damage, he brushed it off as minor and said "He's got a guy that can fix it?" What should I do?
So the other day my boss called me and asked me to move my car from where it was parked because he needed to get his vehicle into a certain parking spot. I moved to the spot next to his large F-350 truck and went back inside. Well while I was in there he managed to forget he had asked me to move my car and backed into it causing a good deal of damage to the drivers side. My mirror, driver and rear driver door all got jacked up for lack of better word. He acted like he had barely tapped me when he told me and even asked if the damage was from a prior accident, to which I said no. I then got this run down about how he has a guy that owes him trade work and he's apparently a body shop expert and can fix it for me for free... but it doesn't take away that fact that my car sustained ~$2000 worth of damage and the value is fucked. Not to mention I am supposed to arrange a meeting with some shady guy he has trade work with to fix my car, and I'll be out of a car
What should I have done/should I do? I'am kind of afraid to bring it up because he acted so nonchalant like it was nothing but with how little I make and still owing $6000 on this car it kind of has me in a weird bind.
