[Discussion] trying to make waze pause audio. i think i'm getting close. it seems to work in overcast. doesn't work in spotify. personally i don't care about pausing music so that's fine. if you're interested or have a suggestion, take a look.

with iFile i went to /System/Library/Frameworks/MediaToolbox.framework

i opened SystemSoundLowersMusicVolume.plist and changed these to 0:

1. Alert_3rdParty_Haptic
2. Alert_3rdParty_Salient_Haptic
3. AlertMapsDirectionInApp_Haptic
4. Default
5. (all the ones that begin with "Navigation")
6. (both of the ones that begin with "Notification")
7. SystemSoundPreview
8. UserAlert

(most of those are surely unnecessary changes , i'd guess default is the right one)

then i found a tweak called VolumeWiz that has a setting to automatically pause audio when volume is at 0, and resume once it goes back up

I'm fairly sure it works for Overcast. it doesn't work for Spotify, but personally I don't care about music getting paused. I just want to pause podcasts.
