Two Week Notice but on 1 week Vacation

Hello,

I am currently working a job at a middle school that is an hour away from home. I have been having difficulties in this position since the start (started in August) and the job was not what I thought it would be. I am currently on a year long probation (180 work days).

Although it has been great experience, I feel it is best for me to find a job elsewhere, but still at a k-12 public school as my career goal is to be a high school counselor. I have applied for graduate school (I'm taking the year off between undergrad and grad school), and so I am eventually going to be a counselor and this experience I am gaining now will prove to be crucial for when I apply to counseling jobs.

That said, I have an interview scheduled for tomorrow at a school district closer to my house. The position is 'career center specialist' so its a lot closer to my career path then the current job as a family specialist, although my current job has been great learning experience.

So I have an interview tomorrow for the potential career specialist specialist position tomorrow Friday. At my current job, I have all of next week off for Presidents week. Therefore, if I get the potential job, I would have a entire week off, then another 2 weeks before I would be able to start the new job.

Is it unprofessional to give less than 2 weeks notice? Or giving two weeks notice, but including this upcoming week when everyone in my current district is on break?

Assuming I get the potential job, (I went through an exam process with 15 others, and I was ranked #1 on 'selection' list) I am not sure whether they would be okay with me giving more than 2 weeks notice.

How should I best go about this?
