The future with dual-format

So, with Scorsese's World Cinema project No. 2 being released on dual-format, quite after Criterion dropped the whole dual-format thing, do you think it might be getting a comeback? I personally loved dual-format and would love to get a comeback, considering I value both DVDs and Blu-Rays.
