iPhone 7 and other devices having trouble keeping consistent connection to wi-if at home

So my iPhone 7's wifi works flawlessly in most rooms of my house, but in my game room, it struggles to stay connected. I only notice this with my mobile devices; my 5 did the same and so did my iPod touch 5th gen, but my MacBook Pro 2011 works absolutely perfect in my game room. I don't think it's my phone, but is there anything I could do with my phone, or will I have to do something about my wi-for router?
