Could you provide any source for your claim that Poland opposed supporting Frontex? I couldn't find any and it would be quite surprising, if you consider that the agency has its headquarters in Warsaw and Poland usually strive for presence of foreign security institutions as a way to get other countries involved in protecting eastern borders. That we as European countries should cooperate to face all problems on the continent - I have no doubt. It would be the Union, we really need. In this case however many top European politicians actually wanted to let all the immigrants in from the very beginning of the crisis, saying it's the right thing to do and we would benefit from this decision. I totally agree we are obligated at least to try to help those who are in danger, but it wasn't fair to ignore all obvious consequences of this decision. There are people who still negate unsolved problems and claim the whole operation was nothing, but a success. And they want now to force Poland to take in group of these people, even if it's not working for them and render serious safety issues. These people can't be even properly verified anymore. So how does Poland suppose to cooperate with the EU when it gets bashed for not wanting to explicitly endanger its citizens.
