Pixel XL update issue?

So I have a UK variant Pixel XL 128GB in black and I have just completed an update and the phone reports that it finished fine, when the update installed it rebooted but it didn't actually turn back on so it installed part 1 but turned off and was difficult to turn back on. Is anyone else having these issues? I don't want to RMA my device as I live in England and they make you take it back to where you bought it and that means 2/4 weeks for a repair.
