Adam not the first living soul?

I came across this article(link below) and I thought I would put it to this community as I would like to hear the feed back from other academically minded biblical readers.

I've been doing a lot of biblical research and slowly I have been pulling back the curtain on a lot of misinformation but I came across this site and it kinda...stumped me.

This guy makes a good argument. I don't agree with all his positions but wanted to know what you guys thought of this.
