Need to get from Santa Lucia train station to Chioggia

Most information i find on the internet is in Italian... I know now that there is apparently some sort of water public transport system? Could anyone tell me more about what route I'd need to take and what would be the cheapest return ticket, please? Or just any information at all about public transport around Venezia.

Note also that I am going to be carrying baggage..

Edit: Just out of curiosity... how much would a taxi to Chioggia be, in comparison?
